It was a year ago, today, that I launched my very own business. I chose
April Fool's Day because it was a funny and easy way to remember the
leap I was taking into the unknown.
And after a year of craft fairs like the Keller Indianettes Fair and
the Funky Finds Spring Fling, I have met fellow artisans and enjoyable
customers. I have learned a lot, grown creatively and strengthened in
confidence and wit. Believe me, it takes a great deal of all of that to
run your own shop from home. Also, in the last year, my son started
going to school three hours a day, I've created new product lines and
launched on Etsy. And because Etsy was an easy route to take, I changed
my website from an online store to a blog with my Etsy Shop built in.
Many of you have been with me since day one and some of you have been
with me for just a bit. But each of you, by signing up for my
newsletter, contributed to my enthusiasm. Thank you!
So today I am celebrating the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of What's My Future
